Israel Researchers Sail 8,000-Year-Old Reed Boat Design

University of Haifa scientists built a working boat from 1,600 reeds using Stone Age techniques, then successfully sailed it along the same coast where ancient communities lived 8,000 years ago.

The experiment proves our ancestors could have navigated the Mediterranean with nothing but the materials nature provided.
