Italian Astronaut to Pilot NASA's Artemis III Mission

NASA just named Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano as pilot for the 2027 Artemis III mission, making him the first European to fill this critical role in humanity's return to the Moon.

The announcement builds on the recent success of Artemis II, which took humans around the Moon for the first time in over 50 years.
