Johannesburg Shuts Down Main Street for Car-Free Sunday

Johannesburg transformed its usually gridlocked Main Street into a playground for art, sports, and community fun on April 12, closing the road to all vehicles for the day.

Drummers, cyclists, skateboarders, and families reclaimed the CBD streets for dancing, street football, and spray-paint workshops.
