Kate Douglass Breaks World Record Twice in One Day

Virginia swimmer Kate Douglass shattered the 50m freestyle world record not once but twice on Saturday, finishing nearly half a second faster than anyone thought possible this year.

19-second final came just nine hours after she first broke the record in morning preliminaries.
