LA Expands River Plastic Catchers Before 2028 Olympics

Los Angeles is deploying new trash-catching technology in two more rivers to stop hundreds of tons of plastic from reaching the Pacific Ocean before the 2028 Olympic Games.

The city's first device has already prevented nearly 200 tons of trash from polluting local beaches.
