LA Rivers Get Plastic Interceptors Before 2028 Olympics

Three high-tech river interceptors will protect Los Angeles waterways from ocean plastic pollution ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.

The expansion could stop up to 570 tonnes of plastic from reaching the Pacific Ocean each year.
