Lagos Targets 20,000 Trees to Cool City, Fight Floods

Lagos is planting 20,000 trees this year to tackle rising temperatures and flooding, with 13,401 already in the ground.

The city is turning all 57 local councils into "Tree Custodians" to ensure saplings survive and grow.
