Louisiana Man Cured of Sickle Cell, Ready to Fly

Daniel Cressy became the first person in the Gulf South to be functionally cured of sickle cell disease through gene therapy.

The 23-year-old from Louisiana can now pursue his dream of becoming a pilot after the FAA previously denied him due to his condition.
