Lubbock Firefighters Get Cool-Down Truck to Beat the Heat

When Texas heat meets heavy protective gear, Lubbock firefighters now have a mobile rehab unit that monitors vitals and prevents heat exhaustion before it becomes dangerous.

The specially equipped truck has cooling vests and hydration stations keeping first responders safe while they save lives.
