Two migrant workers who endured exploitation in New Zealand kiwifruit orchards just won more than $23,000 in unpaid wages and illegal payments.

The victory comes after authorities held a contractor accountable for forcing workers to labor 70-hour weeks and demanding cash kickbacks.
