Minnesota Car-Share Gets $500K to Add Electric Vehicles

Hourcar, a nonprofit car-sharing service in the Twin Cities, just received $500,000 from Xcel Energy to expand its electric vehicle fleet into underserved neighborhoods.

With nearly 14,000 members and 670,000 trips completed, the service is helping low-income residents access clean transportation without the burden of car ownership.
