Minnesota Doubles Wind Energy Line in $900M Upgrade

A Minnesota utility just broke ground on a massive project that will nearly double the amount of clean wind energy flowing from North Dakota to northern communities.

The upgrade to a 50-year-old power line puts the state on track to meet its goal of 100% carbon-free electricity by 2040.
