NASA Keeps 48-Year-Old Voyager 2 Running Another Year

Engineers just pulled off a brilliant power-saving trick to keep the historic Voyager 2 spacecraft exploring deep space for at least another year.

The 48-year-old probe, now 13 billion miles from Earth, is still sending scientific data from beyond our solar system.
