New Zealand Creates 5 Marine Reserves for Rare Dolphins

New Zealand is launching five new marine reserves next month to protect 308 square miles of ocean habitat for some of the world's rarest dolphins, penguins, and sea lions.

The reserves will be managed in partnership with the local Māori community as no-take zones.
