Nigeria's Kanyinsola Ajayi capped a breakthrough 2026 season by breaking his country's 100-meter record and proving he belongs among the world's fastest athletes.

The 21-year-old turned pro, defeated a world champion twice, and ran under 10 seconds an incredible 17 times.
