NJ Teen Wins National Merit Scholarship From J&J

April Jiating Yu, an East Brunswick High School senior, earned one of just 700 corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarships this year.

The aspiring medical student won the Johnson & Johnson scholarship after advancing through a rigorous selection process that started with 16,000 semifinalists.
