NSW Invests $34M in Shark-Spotting Drones for 72 Beaches

New South Wales is launching the world's largest shark-spotting drone program, with year-round aerial surveillance protecting swimmers at 72 beaches starting this week.

The $34 million investment could eventually deploy AI-powered autonomous drones across hundreds of kilometers of coastline.
