NSW Recyclers Return 16 Billion Containers, Raise $100M

Since 2017, everyday Australians have turned recycling into charity by returning 16 billion drink containers through NSW's Return and Earn program.

The simple act of dropping off bottles and cans has raised over $100 million for causes ranging from koala hospitals to children's medical research.
