NYC Adds 600 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations to Streets

New York City is installing 600 new curbside electric vehicle charging stations starting early 2027, targeting neighborhoods with high concentrations of taxi and rideshare drivers.

The expansion represents a major step toward the city's goal of making all rideshare rides zero-emission by 2030.
