NZ Officer Stands After Near-Fatal Crash

A young New Zealand police officer critically injured by a fleeing car has stood for the first time since the August crash left him in a coma.

Nearly a month after the traumatic head injury, he's responding to commands and taking his first assisted steps toward recovery.
