Oklahoma Aluminum Plant Cuts Fluoride Emissions 37%

A $4 billion aluminum smelter project in Inola, Oklahoma slashed its proposed fluoride emission limits by 37% after state regulators and community members pushed developers to do better.

The change puts the facility in line with world-class environmental standards.
