One Bird Discovery Led to Saving 1,350 Species in Ecuador

A mysterious bird call in Ecuador's cloud forest led to the discovery of a new species and sparked a conservation movement that now protects one in eight of all bird species on Earth.

The Jocotoco Foundation has grown from saving a single bird to managing nearly 200 square miles of restored habitat.
