Oysters Could Filter Water for Future Moon and Mars Astronauts

A small space company and Pennsylvania university are developing an aquarium system to grow oysters in space, potentially giving astronauts natural water filtration on long missions.

The prototype is one-third ready for spaceflight and could launch to the International Space Station within years.
