Peace Mission Deployed to War-Torn Eastern DR Congo

A first-of-its-kind team arrived Monday in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo to monitor a fragile ceasefire, bringing new hope to a region torn by decades of conflict.

The mission follows a fresh peace roadmap agreed to by both sides after Swiss-mediated talks.
