Race Walkers Smash World Records in Birmingham

Two athletes just rewrote the record books at the European Athletics Championships, with Italy's Sofia Fiorini demolishing the women's marathon race walking world record by more than nine minutes.

Spain's Maria Perez also claimed a world record in the half-marathon distance.
