Racehorse Named for Boy Who Beat Eye Cancer at 7 Months

A grandfather named his homebred racehorse after his grandson Michael, who survived retinoblastoma at just 7 1/2 months old.

Now 13 and cancer-free, Michael watches his equine namesake compete at Saratoga.
