Runner Shatters Marathon Debut Record by Nearly 8 Minutes

Ethiopian runner Fotyen Tesfay just ran the fastest marathon debut in women's history, clocking 2:10:53 in Barcelona and missing the world record by less than a minute.

The 28-year-old shaved nearly eight minutes off the previous debut record while setting new national and course records.
