Scientists Find 149 New Species Near Underwater Volcano

An expedition to remote underwater mountains in the Indian Ocean has discovered 149 species never seen before, including glowing-eyed fish and translucent sea cucumbers.

The team explored volcanic seamounts up to 120 million years old that had never been studied.
