Scientists May Have Found Black Hole Stars in Early Universe

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope discovered mysterious "little red dots" that turned out to be something never seen before: black holes wrapped in star-like clouds of glowing gas.

One of these objects, spotted from 660 million years after the Big Bang, is rewriting what we thought was possible in the cosmos.
