Scientists Rediscover Lost Coral Reef Off Benin Coast

After six decades of mystery, scientists in Benin have rediscovered a thriving coral reef that was first spotted in the 1960s and then forgotten.

The healthy ecosystem with at least eight coral types and eight fish species survived while half the world's coral reefs died off.
