Solar EV Startup Aptera Rolls First Car Off Assembly Line

After nearly folding in 2011, California's Aptera just produced its first solar-powered electric vehicle from its validation assembly line.

The three-wheeled autocycle can travel 40 miles daily on sunshine alone, with battery backup extending range up to 1,000 miles.
