South Korea Opens Public Data to 20 Safety Tech Startups

South Korea is handing startups the keys to government data vaults to solve real safety problems, from predicting festival crowd dangers to detecting icy roads.

Twenty selected companies will get up to $750,000 each to turn these ideas into life-saving technology.
