Spain Opens Path to Legal Status for 500,000 Immigrants

Spain just finalized a measure allowing up to 500,000 undocumented workers to gain legal status, choosing inclusion over the deportation approach sweeping much of Europe.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called it "an act of justice and a necessity" for people already contributing to the nation's economy.
