Sydney's Second Airport Opens After 80-Year Wait

Western Sydney International Airport will welcome its first passengers on October 25, ending nearly nine decades of planning since the idea was first proposed in the 1940s.

The new hub will serve 10 million travelers yearly and give western Sydney residents 24-hour flight access without curfew restrictions.
