Sydney's West Gets 1,100-Hectare National Park

Western Sydney is getting a massive new national park that will protect 28 threatened species while giving the city's growing population much-needed green space.

Opening in six months, Gulguer National Park will be three times larger than Sydney's famous Centennial Parklands.
