Tamil Nadu Restores 2,500 Hectares of Mangrove Forests

Tamil Nadu is launching a major initiative to restore and expand mangrove forests across eight coastal districts, protecting wildlife and strengthening fishing communities.

The TN-SHORE project will revive 2,500 hectares of vital coastal ecosystems that serve as nurseries for fish and safe havens for migratory birds.
