Tanzania Scientists Develop Mosquitoes That Can't Spread Malaria

Tanzanian researchers are genetically modifying mosquitoes to stop them from spreading malaria, a breakthrough that could help eliminate the disease entirely.

The technology is still in testing, but pilot trials could begin within five to seven years.
