Teachers From Across Japan Help Rebuild Quake-Hit Schools

Volunteer teacher teams from seven regions are helping Kumamoto schools recover from a devastating earthquake, carrying forward a tradition of support that started nearly 30 years ago.

Their mission: ease the burden on exhausted local educators so they can focus on their students.
