Teen Turns Banana Leaves Into Plates for 1 Cent Each

A 15-year-old from Tamil Nadu has developed a chemical-free process that preserves discarded banana leaves and transforms them into biodegradable plates, bowls, and utensils for less than a penny each.

His invention could help tackle plastic waste while creating income for farmers.
