Teen with Down Syndrome Beats Leukemia with Spider-Man Spirit

Joe Slachciak, 18, is celebrating being cancer-free after spending his 17th birthday in the hospital fighting leukemia.

His positive attitude and love of superheroes made him the perfect honorary survivor for Relay For Life's superhero-themed event.
