Texas Senior Wins National Merit Scholarship, First for School

Jillian Bejil becomes the first student from Midland's Young Women's Leadership Academy to win a National Merit Scholarship, one of only 2,500 awarded nationwide.

She hopes her achievement shows younger students what's possible for them too.
