Thousands Clean 60+ LA Beaches for Ocean Protection

Thousands of volunteers spent Saturday removing trash from more than 60 beaches and waterways across Los Angeles County in the 37th annual Coastal Cleanup Day.

The community-powered effort collected an estimated 19,000 pounds of debris last year and continues growing as part of a global movement to protect marine life.
