Tuscaloosa Volunteers Give 30 Minutes to Help Kids Read

A grassroots literacy program in Tuscaloosa is recruiting volunteers to spend just 30 minutes twice a week helping young students learn to read.

Since 2017, Reading Allies has paired struggling first through third graders with trained community members who deliver personalized lesson plans.
