Uganda Expands Sickle Cell Treatment Access Nationwide

Uganda's Ministry of Health just committed to making life-saving sickle cell treatment accessible in public hospitals across the country.

The announcement came as 44 African nations launched a continental plan to finally give this long-overlooked disease the attention it deserves.
