UK's Largest EV Battery Plant Gets Fast-Track Training

A new rapid apprenticeship program will train 1,600 workers for the UK's biggest electric vehicle battery factory in just weeks instead of years.

The Somerset gigafactory opens in 2027 and promises 4,000 jobs plus £700 million in annual economic value.
