University Plants 800 Trees to Heal Fire-Scarred Forest

Scientists at University of Guadalajara are using evidence-based techniques to restore La Primavera Forest, targeting areas devastated by wildfires with native species and soil regeneration methods.

Their new approach has dramatically improved survival rates from three out of ten trees to significantly higher success.
