Vingegaard Takes Yellow Jersey as Tour de France Begins

Danish cycling champion Jonas Vingegaard claimed the opening stage of the 2026 Tour de France as his team won Saturday's time trial through Barcelona.

The victory gives him an early edge over rival Tadej Pogacar, who's chasing his record-tying fifth Tour win.
