Virginia 'Cookie Lady' Welcomes 11,000 Cyclists Since 1976

For nearly 50 years, June Curry has turned her home in Afton, Virginia into a free rest stop for cross-country cyclists, offering cookies, sandwiches, and a safe place to sleep.

She's welcomed travelers from all 50 states and 50 countries, calling them her "bike family.
