Volunteers Crank Historic Ohio Bridge Back to Life

A dozen volunteers in Marietta, Ohio manually cranked open a 100-year-old swing bridge for its first deep inspection in years, moving a beloved landmark closer to connecting the community again.

The hands-on effort is part of a $2 million restoration to reopen the Historic Harmar Bridge as a pedestrian walkway.
