Modern Tiny Living just completed the Tink, a 28-foot tiny house that manages to fit features most small homes can't handle. The compact home includes a dedicated home office with its own entrance, a living room that converts into guest quarters, and storage tucked into nearly every surface.

The clever design starts with a raised living room accessed by steps. Those steps hide storage, the floor beneath holds more, and the U-shaped sofa opens up to become a double bed for guests. The sofa also seats six people comfortably, making it surprisingly social for such a small footprint.

The kitchen doesn't skimp on appliances despite the tight space. It includes a full-size quad-door refrigerator, a washer and dryer, a gas oven and cooktop, and even a breakfast bar with seating for two. Custom cabinetry with brown maple countertops adds warmth without wasting an inch.

The home office sits at the opposite end from the living room and has its own separate entrance. This setup means someone can work from home without disrupting the main living space, a feature that became crucial during the pandemic and remains valuable today.

The main bedroom sits in a loft accessed by stairs that double as storage units. A skylight brings in natural light to offset the low ceiling, and the space fits a double bed plus shelving.

At just 28 feet long on a triple-axle trailer, the Tink is shorter than many North American tiny houses. That smaller size makes it easier to move, opening up possibilities for people who want to relocate their home seasonally or follow job opportunities.

Designs like the Tink show that downsizing doesn't mean giving up the features that make a house feel like home.
